    1. At your first appointment, we will review your pre-session paperwork together. Reviewing with you will give me a great opportunity to ensure that I understand your specific needs and goals.

    2. Next, we will do some simple assessments that will help us with a treatment direction. That may look like skin inspection, movement analysis, Range of Motion testing, etc. Nothing hard, nothing painful!

    3. Once assessments are complete, I will tell you exactly what I have in mind and ensure you are comfortable with my process. I will never surprise you with random techniques! You are always encouraged to tell me if you are uncomfortable with my plan! This treatment is designed for YOU.

    4. Last, the treatment! Once we are on the same page, we move forward with your scheduled treatment time.

    • Hydrate!

    • Refrain from eating a heavy meal right before your appointment.

    • Do not apply lotion or body oil before your appointment. Many times MLD is incorporated into your treatment, and it works best on product-free skin.

    • Wear comfortable clothing

    • Bring your questions! I love all questions. Ask away!

  • While you are never required to undress beyond your comfort level, many treatment techniques are most effective when performed directly on skin. For this reason, most clients choose to undress completely or remain in their underwear during treatment.

Professional draping is always used throughout the session, and only the area being treated will be exposed. Your comfort, privacy, and consent are the top priority.

  • Nope! This will all be discussed during your appointment time. The extra time I reserve for each appointment is intended just for that purpose!

  • Systemic does not bill insurance directly. However, upon request, I can provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Coverage and reimbursement vary by plan. Payment is due at the time of service.
